Founding offer for independent practices
£395 a month. About one varifocal dispense.
Crewley is a done-for-you build, not a self-serve checkout. Your practice management software stays where it is, and clinical records never leave it. For the first five founding practices the price is fixed.
Separate costs use the lower of the nearest UK service price or the staff hours replaced. Your audit uses your own numbers.
What you get
What you get, and what it would cost piecemeal.
Here is what Crewley runs for an independent practice, and what each piece would cost to hire or buy separately, where it exists for opticians at all.

- Enquiry follow-up that stops the moment someone replies, with a person to hand to
- Online booking, confirmations and check-in texts
- A 24-step recall sequence and daily call lists
- Missed-call and late-order boards your team clears with one press
- Lab orders tracked from order sheet to "ready for collection" text
- Lens orders drafted for staff to approve
- Supplier invoices into your accounts without anyone forwarding them
- Reviews, one inbox for every channel, website chat, campaigns, forms and e-sign
- A watchdog that reports when something stops, and a person to call
- Staff walkthrough and the compliance groundwork (DPIA approach, caller notice, processor list)

Values are what the nearest UK service or module costs, or the staff hours replaced at the 2026 living wage, whichever is lower. Your audit replaces the estimates with your practice's own numbers.

That's time for about 98 more half-hour conversations with patients each month.
Valued at £14.60 an hour, it's £715 of staff time a month. Crewley's founding price is £395.
£14.60 an hour is the 2026 National Living Wage plus employer costs. A month is 4.33 weeks. These are your estimates, not a promise. The free audit measures the real figures.

How the founding offer works.
Everything in the list is built around your practice: your diaries, your channels, your staff and the things your team already knows. It is tested on dummy records and switched on in stages, with monitoring running from the first day.

Area exclusivity
One practice per area.
Crewley works with one practice per area. Exclusivity is guaranteed six months at a time and renews for as long as you remain a client. Ownership and profits stay entirely with your practice.
Coming later
Crewley-in-a-box.
A lighter subscription tier, planned at £197 to £497 a month, for practices below the size that justifies a full build. It isn't available yet. It launches once the done-for-you build has proven itself across several practices.
Questions before you book
About the price.
What does Crewley cost?
A founding practice pays £395 a month: about one varifocal dispense. One extra varifocal patient a month covers it; everything after that is yours. Setup is £3,000. The first five founding practices pay £1,500.
Why is it a quote after the first five?
A practice already close to what Winstanley & Son runs, on similar systems, needs less new build. A practice starting further back costs more to bring level. You see the audit finding before you see a figure, so the quote can be explained line by line.
What if the audit finds nothing worth fixing?
Then you get a clean bill of health and no quote follows. The audit is free either way.
Do I own what gets built?
Ownership, independence and the profit from your practice stay entirely with you.
Can I see it running before I commit?
Yes. The case study is open to read, and you're welcome to stand in the practice it runs in and watch it work.
